One of the great gastronomic references of Montañita is the Italian chef Luca Piavani, who, together with his wife Diana, established himself in the place more than 15 years ago. His passion for cooking and his tireless work are reflected in Pigro al Sol, a restaurant that fuses the best of Ecuadorian gastronomy with Italian cuisine.
